Artists are very unique and powerful people in their ways. They are as real as they come, and their attention to little details will mesmerize even the most alienated people. They may not be good with words, but they are very good with the camera and their photos. Stories have been told of artists who took to explain the phenomenon using just images, and it came out better than it would have come out were it said by words.

One such artist is June Korea, who has perfected his photography shots since the year 2001. He has, however, chosen a unique path with his sex doll, Eva, who he is using to bring out all the messages in his pictures.
Eva and the Emotional Connection
Eva was named so by June Korea, upon receiving her via FedEx, and you will be intrigued to learn that there is more to the name than meets the eye. So, Korea named his sex doll Eva deduced from ‘forever’ to bring forth the aspect of forever living for the sex doll. He has been quoted to say that his sex doll will live on even as he gets old or dies because she is trapped behind the beauty of being a sex doll. If we did not know better, we would think that Korea wishes Eva was a real person to go through the eventful life with her.

Eva is depicted as lonely, pensive, alienated from the world, and almost always sad. Being a sex doll, she does bring out those feelings quite strongly. She is the best example of someone going through relationship issues that are so complicated as to alienate them from the world into the loneliness of not being able to speak up.
June Korea and Emotional Photography
From his past phot shots, Korea was known to take pictures of abandoned sex dolls that were thrown away. That right, there is already an emotional start to it. The fact that he chose only to photograph abandoned sex dolls speaks a lot. And when he could not have enough of those shots to tell his story, he resorted to getting his sex doll to use in his photos. He was searching for a permanent solution to all of this, and he got Eva, his beloved companion, and sex doll forever.

Korea attributes his photos to his personal life, just as many artists would. All of the sadness, loneliness, alienation, pensiveness, and isolation that come through his pictures are indirectly what he goes through in his life. This photography artist speaks to the world in words only his hear understands through his closest companion. His story is a sad one and more if he is battling with the loneliness and isolation.
Korea used his sex doll to show us that sex dolls are better made meaningful than being left to lie there meaninglessly and lonely only being used to give sexual gratification. He goes ahead to try and provide a sense of life and belonging to his sex doll by involving her in those shots.
Sex Dolls and Artists

In the past, sex dolls have been used to tell stories about very many aspects of their lives successfully. While we acknowledge artists who use sex dolls positively like Korea, we also need to look at instances where sex dolls have been used differently by artists, in a bid to separate the apparent link we have given sex dolls to sexual satisfaction.
For artists like Korea, their attachment with sex dolls goes more profound than we can see; they see the sex dolls as they see themselves and treat them as they would themselves because they are indirectly depicting their lives. Korea as told Huff post that he does not know how his story will end, but in the meantime, he will continue to take the photos of him and Eva to give us more stories about his life.

The sadness can be felt even in his words as he explains his unsure state about the end of his story with Eva. He says that the result may be his death, or a happy ending, or even a breakup with his beloved Eva. All in all, he expects his story to bring out the totality of his message of alienation, loneliness, estrangement, and any other emotions that he may develop later on in life.
Korea says that in some of those photos, he is the one behind them; they are scenes from his life experiences. Some of the pictures are taken in a public place, like the park when they are both seated on a bench and another one where he is sitting on a log playing the guitar for Eva. You can imagine the feeling of having people around you that you cannot connect with, however close they may be to you! Better still imagine having a meal, going shopping, or taking a nature walk with someone, but you cannot say a single word to them; pretty sad scene.

Artists are said to have the strongest of emotions because they cannot tell them out by mouth, but rather bring them out through such things as pictures, drawings, music, dances, or even poems. Embracing art is the only way that we can tap into those emotions to be able to appreciate art and artists.
Symbolism and Art

For artists, every aspect of their communication is a pure symbol of what they are going through. For example, in the case of Korea, Eva is a symbol of his own life. And the photographs are used to symbolize a mirror that reflects the person that Korea is. As he says that he thinks photographing Eva is a lifelong affair, it then means that it is most likely going to stop with his death. Again, this is possibly why he says he is unsure of the ending of his story. One thing is for sure, though, reading his story is inspirational and will remain to be for Eva.
